The New Baby Jubilee Story

My name is Kimberly and on November 2004, I was diagnosed with endometriosis.   I was twenty years old.  I had never heard of this condition before but suddenly I was faced with the chance of infertility.  I felt betrayed like my body was doing things behind my back, turning against me - a mutiny of sorts.  My husband, Clive and I began looking for resources and support on the Internet and what we found was always lacking.  Some sites had information but we couldn’t find other couples or even other women who understood the emotional and physical pain that this disease presented. Even though we were not prepared to have children right away we knew that not ever being able to have biological children would have been a tragedy for both of us. While undergoing treatment, the side effects and the uncertainty became almost unbearable and support was nonexistent so we decided to create a professional yet friendly site, a circle of friends with a common goal.

Our Objective:

 To lend support to and educate persons diagnosed with conception complications.

At New Baby Jubilee we pledge to give our visitors accurate and up-to-date information but more importantly, we will share our experience and lend support to other couples experiencing this or other infertility related conditions.  We hope to create a warm and inviting haven to the growing numbers of people who will receive this heart breaking news as well as the countless others for which this is a reality.  We understand that no matter how well meaning friends and family members may try to be during this time, they may never be able to appreciate your feelings unless they have experienced this themselves. And, we understand that for anyone who ever took this journey, each new life is a blessing.
